Our client, a prestigous Chinese bank, with its expansion in the Finance Department. They are looking for a seasoned Financial Accounting professional to help run the department. An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the right individual for the job.
Responsibilities:
Handling and ensure the accuracy for Branch Year/Month-end closing. Supervising daily financial accounting work such as various kinds of financial reports, accounting control & analysis as well as regulatory returns to HKMA and CBRC. The incumbent will also be required to participate in system & project development, and complete other allocated tasks by Deputy Head of the department.
Requirements:
- University graduate with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in banking industry, including 3 years of managerial level.
- Solid knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting, including HKMA and CBRC returns, and other regulatory / management reports.
- Thorough understanding of wholesale banking operations and related products as well as treasury accounting, structured products and related derivatives.
- Hands-on experience on treasury accounting, month-end closing processes. IFRS accounting standards and practical exposure to system enhancement project related to regulatory / MIS reporting issues.
- Strong presentation skill with fluent in English & Mandarin.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
