Senior Relationship Manager - Commodities
Responsibilities
•Manage existing commodity portfolios, establish quality customer relationships, and deliver differentiated banking facilities and financial solutions
•Develop the business and achieve business objectives by identifying and exploring new commodity customer
•Prepare credit applications in compliance with bank's policies, guidelines and industry regulations.
•Cross-sell the Bank’s full range of financial services proactively to exceed customer expectations
•Monitor account performance to ensure good utilization of facilities and proper control of credit and operational risks
•Connect the team with the overall strategic direction, and ensure execution against set objectives
•Coach junior staff and back up other team members to achieve overall team target
Requirements
•Degree holder in Banking, Economics, Finance, International Trade, or related disciplines
•Minimum 8 years credit/marketing experience with not less than 4 years relevant experience in commodity or trade finance with international banks
•Sound knowledge of various types commodities and trade finance products
•Strong business acumen, able to analyze and interpret business and financial data
•Experience in dealing with PRC clients and traveling in China
•Experience in dealing with regional & global commodity clients will be added advantage
•Customer-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Self-starter with a tenacity to succeed and accountable for results
•Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
