GENERAL INFORMATION

 Position: SENIOR LEGAL COMPLIANCE - AUTOMOTIVE

 Level: Executive

 Contract term: Permanent

 Work time: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)

JOB DUTIES

 Report to A&A General Manager (Vietnamese female, late 30s)

 Assigned to Admin and Accounting Department, Legal function

 Team size: 2 members (neither Manager nor Leader)

 Job Responsibilities:

- On behalf of the company take part in providing legal advice and settlement of complaints or disputes

- In charge of all company issues related to compliance and governance aspects; report to parent companies in Japan and Singapore

- Provide legal advice requested by General Director and Department Heads to ensure the company’s compliance under the regional group and original country’s regulations

- Advise Board of Management with newly created laws; update lawful regulations related to the company’s operation

- Amend the company’s investment certificate (in cases of changing members of Board of Council, legal representative, revised/new business lines…)

- Prepare internal policies and step-by-step action plan in compliance with any updates of multi-level selling, notification of promotion programs… issued by Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and Customs Department

- Draft internal guidelines, decisions and minutes requested by General Director and A&A General Manager

- Implement training on legal issues and internal policies to relevant departments

- Other legal compliance tasks as per requested by upper management level


JOB REQUIREMENTS

 Desirable Background and Experience:

- Qualification: Bachelor Degree is Law (must)

- Language skill(s): English fluent

- Proficient computer skills

- From 3+ years of professional experience on similar positions in MNC companies
