Our client is an international software solutions developer, with centers in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China offering software development, implementation and support. Its mother company, a listed company, was Global 500. Its Hong Kong center has the need for a
SOFTWARE TESTER
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoots and investigates into software defects to produce clear and good quality defect report
• Reports test progress clearly in regular report and run through QA spreadsheet to complete required test within given timeframe
• Works with team members and other international teams to improve software quality and provides assessment on software’s readiness for application
• Monitors market’s responses and gathers feedback from various social media after product release
Requirements:
• Major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics or related disciplines.
• Native speaker of any Asian languages
• Has good English able to speak, read and write relatively well
• Familiar with using smart phones and/or pads
• Good PC application knowledge in handling daily communication via email
• A creative problem solver with keen interest to improve software quality
• Good team player in an energetic multi-cultural environment
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to contribute to team success
• Able to follow instructions and work independently to complete task within given timeframe
• Equivalent experience in software localization /QA will be an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
