Job Description

Our client, a famous Japanese consumer electronic company is now looking for the following candidate –

Responsibilities 

• Assist in drafting and reviewing of legal documents and contracts for the business units

• Assist in developing, updating and reviewing company policies and guidelines from the compliance perspective

• Handle some company secretarial matters and provide the administration support to the department

• Support the company J-SOX auditing

• Maintain and update the legal documents: ensure the proper filing such as company policies, regulations guidelines

• In-charge of compliance matters to ensures high standards of corporate governance in region to meet executive and statutory obligations

• Handle matters related to legal and compliance and ad-hoc assignment such as complex complaints, litigation as and when required

• Provide compliance training to business units 

• Maintain diaries and agendas of various tasks, deadlines and pending matters relating to the legal activity of the company


Job Requirements:

• Tertiary academic qualification(s) in legal studies is preferred

• 2-3 years of experience in working in legal related 

• Knowledge of Companies Ordinance and other statutory regulations

• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, basic Japanese would be an advantage 

• Mature, accurate, detail oriented, responsible and reliable, respectful of deadlines and time constraints

• Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Immediate availability is highly preferred
