LINGUISTIC TESTER
Responsibilities
• Works with team members and other language teams’ members to tests software’s localized version
• Runs thorough QA spreadsheet
• Reports bugs with clear steps to reproduce and provide detailed report on the quality of software localization.
• Reports test progress clearly in regular report and completes required test within given timeframe
• Monitors market’s responses and gathers feedback from various social media after product release
Requirements
• Major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics or related disciplines.
• Native speaker from Shanghai knowing well the local culture, events and slangs there
• Has good English able to speak, read and write relatively well
• Familiar with using smart phones and/or pads
• Good PC application knowledge in handling daily communication via email
• A creative problem solver with keen interest to improve software quality
• Good team player in an energetic multi-cultural environment
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to contribute to team success
• Able to follow instructions and work independently to complete task within given timeframe
• Equivalent experience in software localization /QA will be an advantage
