Job Environment
The successful candidate will be part of the Electronic Trading Technology team located in Hong Kong, and work with a regional team to implement, maintain and support a growing electronic and algo platform trading in Asian equities markets.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate should be an experienced business analyst / project manager in electronic and algo trading systems. Working with a team of seasoned professionals, the successful candidate will:
• Manage projects to implement, maintain and support the in-house electronic and algo trading platform. To ensure projects are delivered to meet requirements, be on schedule and budget.
• Communicate and work with business, IT and different departments to capture, document and translate requirements.
• Design and enrich the algo execution platform, and its algo strategies to improve functionalities and performance.
• Help define roadmap and strategy for the product, and produce execution plans.
• Help manage team’s budget, resources and other logistics.
Skills and Requirements
• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 5 years of business analysis and project management experience in trading systems.
• Experience working in low latency, real-time, scalable trading systems, especially in algo strategies, automated trading, and electronic trading.
• Knowledge and experiences in capital markets/equities trading, especially in electronic trading in Asia.
• Effective leader, lead a multi-cultural and multi-background team to deliver regional projects.
• Effective communicator, both verbal and written in English. Chinese and Japanese will be an advantage. Confident to communicate with stakeholders of different background, culture and level.
• Self-motivated, multi-tasking, with strong analytical and problem solving skills, solution oriented with proven results.
