Our client, a US-based FinTech (Financial Technology) Firm, is now looking an experienced candidate to join their brand in China:
Responsibilities
•Use creativity and innovative techniques to enhance and improve current statistical processes and methods.
•Embody a standard to coordinate, manage and review statistical modeling solutions and analysis to determine validity, impact potential and business fit.
•Communicate to senior management through discussion, presentations, and write-ups of results, recommendations and insights gained through data analysis to be used to develop strategic and operational plans.
•Maintain a thorough understanding of products and businesses from a strategic standpoint, in addition to deep knowledge of underwriting/business analytics principles and strategies.
•Facilitate close collaboration between team members and Technology & Operations groups on cross-functional projects to improve our verification processes.
•Manage a small team of statistical analysts/modelers.
Requirements
•A Master's degree or equivalent experience, required. PhD is an advantage.
•Advanced programming skills and the ability to write customized R/SAS (or other statistical tool) programs for meaningful data analysis
•Experience in Analytics at a financial institution and working with relational databases, such as SQL
•Proficiency in spreadsheet applications and advanced use of statistical applications and databases
•Advanced knowledge of statistical/econometric modeling
•A strong understanding of delivering financial services through the Internet.
