Job Description
This company is a leading provider of cross-boundary high-speed ferry services in the Pearl River Delta. More than 12 million of passengers were connected to the manor airports in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Macau because of the service. IT plays an important role in the company’s operation and they are looking for patient and skilled Computer Operators.
The Job
•Conducts daily operation tasks that will support all call handling, network equipment monitoring, backup, batch processing, report printing and distribution
•Assists in the installation of the terminal front end software
•Conducts computer equipment preventive maintenance tasks and inventory checking
•Prepares problem reports and other operational documentation
•Provides onsite technical support in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China, Taiwan and so whenever necessary
•Performs emergency support as assigned by supervisor
•Manages and supervises computer operators to perform the computer operations tasks
•Acts as a backup person for Senior Operation Supervisor to perform administrative work
The Requirements
•Technical Institute graduate or above in Information Technology
•2 – 3 years’ working experience in similar capacity
•Hands-on experience in HP Unix and Microsoft platform is an advantage
•Patient, good problem diagnosis and solving skills
•Strong team player with good communication skill
•Able to work independently
•Required to work on shifts
We are open to less experienced candidates or fresh graduates for Computer Operator role.
